We are currently looking to strengthen our team
For years, international clients across different industrial sectors have relied on the quality of our equipment and systems. As a specialist in our field with several locations, we build technical products and tailored solutions that are used worldwide.
To keep that standard, we’re looking to strengthen our workshop team with people who enjoy precise work, take pride in what they build, and want to contribute to equipment that needs to perform reliably for years.
Responsibilities
- Creation, maintenance, and further development of P&IDs for industrial and process plants
- Creation, maintenance, and further development of 3D plant models for industrial and process plants
- Development of plant layouts, equipment arrangements, and piping routes, taking into account accessibility, installability, maintenance, and operation
- Modeling of equipment, piping, pipe supports, and layout-relevant structural and steelwork elements
- Derivation and review of technical documentation, including plot plans, general arrangements, piping layouts, equipment layouts, isometrics, MTOs/BOMs, and support documentation
- Execution of model reviews, clash checks, and consistency checks, as well as structured tracking of open items
- Technical coordination with Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, E&I, project management, suppliers, and installation and site teams
- Review and integration of vendor documentation into the 3D model and planning documentation
- Evaluation of technical trade-offs, identification of solution options, and clear documentation of decisions
- Ensuring compliance with project requirements, customer specifications, internal standards, QA requirements, HSE requirements, and relevant standards and codes
- Active contribution to standards, work methods, knowledge development, and best practices in plant design
- Future perspective: assuming technical coordination responsibilities in plant design, including prioritization, task allocation, quality assurance, and knowledge transfer within the team
Qualifications
- Technical education, such as HTL, FH, TU, Kolleg, or a comparable qualification in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, process engineering, piping design, or mechanical design
- Several years of experience in plant layout design, piping design, or 3D plant design
- Sound understanding of P&IDs, piping specifications, equipment data sheets, vendor documentation, steelwork, installation requirements, and operational aspects
- Practical experience with at least one common 3D plant design system, such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D / PDMS, or comparable tools
- Interest in digital planning methods, model quality, structured data management, and efficient collaboration in engineering
- Experience in creating, deriving, or reviewing technical deliverables in plant engineering
- Ability to critically assess technical interdependencies, identify deviations, and develop practical solutions
- Structured, self-reliant, and quality-conscious way of working — also when handling parallel tasks, schedule requirements, and changing priorities
- Reliable communication, clear coordination, and willingness to address technical topics openly and with a solution-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- Willingness to share knowledge, help develop standards, and take on greater technical responsibility over the medium term
